The principal classes of insurance that we provide to property investors are:

Assets
Cover on Buildings, including common areas and fit-out, which meets the Landlords responsibilities under lease and caters for other losses that a property investor may face following damage to the asset.

Income
Rent, service charge and other building related income following insured damage to the building.

Terrorism
The insurance of the assets and income may be extended to provide indemnity for damage resulting from terrorist attack.

Legal Liability
Compensation and legal costs payable in relation to injury to third parties or third party property damage. May be extended to include loss in relation to terrorism arising out of the negligence of the landlord in providing adequate building security.

Engineering
Machinery and plant for damage by risks unique to its use, for instance pressure vessel explosion or lift collapse.

Inspection
As well as Engineering insurance, insurance companies provide services to inspect specified types of machinery and plant at required intervals, in accordance with statutory Health & Safety regulations.

Developments
Insurances for refurbishments and new build projects in accordance with JCT or similar contract conditions and comprehensive Owner Co-ordinated Insurance Programmes including works and materials, increased costs of unbuilt portion, public liability, JCT clause 21.2.1, advance loss of income, and latent defects.

Legal Indemnity
Restrictive covenants, defective title, lost title deeds and similar property ownership and use restrictions typically discovered during the acquisition process.

Environmental
The cover available includes compensation to third parties arising out of gradual pollution and mandatory clean-up costs for sudden and gradual pollution of own site and third party sites.

Credit Risks
This can be provided as a catastrophe cover designed to 'cap' the exposure to bad debts in a given period or as a cover purchased on an 'ad hoc' basis to facilitate a specific deal.

Corporate Risks
As well as arranging insurance for your property investments, we are able to assist you with all other classes of insurance, which may be required: Employers Liability, Office, Computer, Motor Fleet, Crime, Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Kidnap & Ransom, and Personal Accident & Travel.
